Dry
OBJECTIVE
Dry is a non-alcoholic bar located in the quiet but trendy neighborhood of South Park, San Diego. The target audience is sober adults, with a sophisticated aesthetic, looking for a place to gather, socialize, and celebrate.
APPROACH
To connect to the refined tastes of the target audience, I chose to take inspiration from the Art Deco Era, as the time period aligns with prohibition and opulence. I layered line work in an Art Deco style to create different motifs that frame the typography. I used typeface Quiche Sans, set in all capitals, to give headings geometric simplicity. The color palette of plum and gold gives the brand a luxury feel.
