Zest
OBJECTIVE
Zest is the 2021 theme for the Hospitality Chef conference from Chef2Chef that takes place in Raleigh, North Carolina. The conference, which hosts both speakers and demos of the latest kitchen equipment, targets an audience of corporate chefs, food service directors, and kitchen managers.
APPROACH
To portray a fresh and exciting week of events, I chose bold contrasting colors. I also implemented dynamic color-blocking design elements throughout the brand. I created a dynamic speaker treatment using many weights of the Titling Gothic font family. To contrast this friendly approach, I used the serif font Marco for copy and Essonnes for the logo, giving the brand a sophisticated and refined look.
